The Summerland Chamber of Economic Development and Tourism (SCEDT) is a not for profit society governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Our mission is to promote business, community and tourism development on behalf of the District of Summerland and our membership. SCEDT supports business and tourism in Summerland by: Creating a strong local economy by conducting tourism and marketing campaigns providing networking opportunities and business referrals supporting the community by facilitating community events and festivals representing the interest of business with local, provincial and federal governments the operation of the Summerland Visitor Centre.
